Though in 99% cases porous ceramic vacuum chuck table goes with extremely flat surface,we do meet certain requirement to design the porous ceramic surface with convex or concave shapes to hold thin film and fragile substrate, this is challenging but I can assure you we never say "that is impossible",and indeed,prototypes are built and is in trial run in a customer's lab.
